Configure the Mux connector to (automatically) pull in new assets and caption live streams.

Step 1: Get your Mux API credentials

To set up the Mux connector, sign into Mux as an admin, and navigate to Settings → Access Tokens.

If you don’t see the Access Tokens option in this menu, make sure your account is an admin.

You’ll see this page:

Click on “Generate access token”. Choose an environment (probably “Production”) and give it the “Mux Video” read/write permissions. You can also give it a descriptive name.

Now copy the Access Token ID and Secret Key:

Step 2: Configure in CaptionHub

And paste them into the Mux connector config on CaptionHub:

Set up webhooks

If you want to automatically import Mux assets into CaptionHub (or use it with live captions), you’ll need to configure a webhook in Mux.

Step 1. Copy your unique webhook URL

Navigate to the Mux connector page in CaptionHub and copy the webhook URL.
