To set up our Brightcove connector, you'll need to register CaptionHub as an application with Brightcove.

To do this:

1. Log into your Brightcove account as an Administrator

2. Click on the Settings cog menu at the bottom right, and choose "Account Information"

3. Make a note of the Account ID, which is a sequence of numbers

4. Next click on "API Authentication"

5. Click the "Add application” button

6. Give the integration a name, e.g. "CaptionHub"

7. Adjust the permissions as shown below

   

8. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen

9. A pop-up window will appear, with a Client ID and a Client Secret on it. Leave this window open

   

In CaptionHub

1. Open a new browser window for CaptionHub
2. Navigate to the top-right drop-down menu, and choose Connectors
3. Paste the Client ID and the Client Secret from the Brightcove window
4. Finally, enter your Account ID that you made a note of earlier
5. Optional: Audio track publishing. Select to enable publishing of your voiceover to Brightcove. This setting is applicable for users with multiple audio tracks enabled in their Brightcove account.
